Due to current expansion we are looking for experienced Core Analysts with a previous record of wellsite, routine and special core analysis to be based in Corex’s facilities in the UK and International locations. We are looking for candidates who are personable, possess good communication skills, have supervisory and project management skills and with a record of delivering on time. Suitable candidates should either hold MSc in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or relevant experience or qualifications.
Applications should be experienced in all aspects of Routine and Special Core Analysis (SCAL) including supervising and performing laboratory testing and quality control of test results. Applicants are also invited from candidates with EOR/IOR laboratory experience or shale gas/unconventional gas experience. Must be familiar with and be able to utilise Laboratory Instruments effectively. Must also be able to interpret scientific data, perform mathematical and scientific computations, maintain laboratory notebooks and check for accuracy. Must be fluent in English language (both oral and written).
