Corex’s Libyan Facility One Year On
1st January 2008
Our Corex Libya laboratory has now been established for over a year providing technical services for wide range of activities, including Routine Core Analysis and geological services to the rapidly expanding Libyan market. The Libya laboratory currently has a staff of eleven with plans for further growth during 2008.
Corex Libya’s first year has seen the launch of a major Joint Venture project with Libyan Petroleum Institute (LPI) to produce an NMR database of the key reservoirs of Libya. This project is ongoing and new participants are still welcome to join the project. The project has involved the installation of a state of the art NMR laboratory instrument in the LPI laboratories, together with Corex providing an extensive NMR training programme at LPI and within the Corex laboratories.
